aesthetic reasons but interior resonance reasons as well. (possibly fire
prevention too depending on the heat resistance of your materials?) The
closer the bumper is to the muffler/tail pipe the more chance you have for
increased vibrational resonance being heard in the cabin.Also, if you can show a performance benefit with the diffuser version then I
think you will be on to something. Otherwise, I think the change from the
OEM look is too subtle for many people to want to make a switch unless
your price point is low. Just my 2ยข. Nissan was able to add 19 hp to the 350z by simply redeveloping the front
and rear air flow so who knows? Now you just need to find a wind tunnel
for some testing... :-) Good job on the development and finish work. Quality looks great from
what I can see from the pics!
